Journal club Conference allows the audience to critically evaluate recent articles in the infectious diseases literature, scientific literature or medical literature.

Our visiting professors are scheduled three times per year. Case presentations with live patients are followed by resident presentation, then a discussion and lecture by our invited speaker.

Immunology Conference is a didactic, lecture-style presentation with discussion, which allows clinicians to present difficult cases involving non-HIV immunocompromised patients and includes discussions of diagnostic, clinical formulation, and/or treatment issues.

OBGYN Grand Rounds participants will gain academic and clinical knowledge through local and out-of-town speakers.

Weekly didactic lectures presented by an interprofessional group of researchers and clinicians with content expertise in assessment and treatment of older adults and their caregivers.

Each Friday, pediatric residents will present a one-hour long didactic session on an evidence based topic of their choice, focusing on themes relevant to all pediatric providers. Sessions may include literature reviews, case series, data distribution, quality improvement updates. Session content will vary week to week similarly to Grand Rounds.

Cardiology QI & Outcome Review conference is a form of a Quality Improvement and Mortality & Morbidity conference. One or two cases are chosen where unexpected outcomes are reviewed. The cases are presented in detail by fellows and then discussed with faculty and fellows with focus on systems issues analysis. The discussion leads to suggestions for quality improvement initiatives to address identified systems issues. 

Clinical Conference is a didactic, lecture-style presentation with discussion, which allows clinicians to present difficult cases involving non-HIV Immunocompromised patients and includes discussions of diagnostic, clinical formulation, and/or treatment issues.

This is a weekly case-based conference focused on the evaluation and management of patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Faculty, fellows and clinical staff review cases, including diagnostic findings, angiographic data and interventional approaches.

Grand Rounds is a weekly series to support the academic environment of our division. Topics and speakers are selected to provide faculty and trainees with up to date knowledge about timely issues in Nephrology.
