Overview
This conference will review the updates in the diagnosis and risk stratification of acute pulmonary embolism. Discuss the different treatment modalities and clarify areas of controversy in the management of pulmonary embolism. Provide guidance on escalating care beyond anticoagulation. Describe the role of multidisciplinary care approach and its implementation. The conference will also provide guidance to perioperative anticoagulation management and how to manage long term sequalae of pulmonary embolism. Review the role of artificial intelligence in the care of pulmonary embolism. 

Objectives
  1. Develop a diagnostic and risk stratification approach in acute pulmonary embolism.
  2. Demonstrate the role of endovascular treatment in the management of intermediate and high risk pulmonary embolism patients.
  3. Identify the role of multidisciplinary team approach in management of pulmonary embolism patients.
  4. Identify and describe the post hospitalization care challenges and follow up of pulmonary embolism patients.
  5. Describe the perioperative management of anticoagulation.
  6. Demonstrate how Artificial Intelligence is changing acute pulmonary embolism care.
  7. Step by step management of challenging pulmonary embolism case.
  8. Review the updates in the management of deep venous thrombosis.
