  1. Describe the purpose and key principles of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST)
  2. Identify persons appropriate to participate in this non-pharmacologic intervention
  3. Understand the process for developing and facilitating CST interventions

Registration

Course Synopsis:

This one-day training will provide an introduction to Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST), an evidence-based non-pharmacologic intervention for use with persons experiencing mild to moderate memory impairment. Presented by an interprofessional team of faculty and practitioners, completion of this workshop will prepare participants to organize and facilitate group and individual CST interventions.

Registration:

Registration is free of charge for all Saint Louis University students and employees.  

For all others the $100 registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, and CST Training Manuals.
