Overview

“Contemporary Orthodontics: Innovative Thinking with Standards Based on Evidence”


Course Synopsis:

The Saint Louis University Department of Orthodontics at the Center for Advanced Dental Education presents a five-day symposium for practicing international orthodontists.  This symposium will provide attendees with an opportunity to expand their knowledge of orthodontics in evidence-based perspectives.


Topics will include:

Digital Diagnosis

TADs and Advanced in Application of Anchorage

Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Clear Aligner Therapy

Biomechanics

Non-compliance Appliances

Scenario-based Case Analysis

Cephalometrics in the 21st Century


Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the metropolitan St. Louis community with its rich cultural heritage and it historical association with the specialty of orthodontics.


Tuition:

$4850: Orthodontist

$2850: Post-graduate Student (confirmation letter required)

Tuition for the course includes Welcome Breakfast, refreshment breaks, Welcome Reception, Banquet Dinner, transportation to AAO headquarters and all course materials.

Requirements:

Participants must have completed a formal orthodontic program of at least 2 years in duration or currently enrolled in a formal orthodontic program as a post-graduate student.
