The AIIMSonians of America is an alumni association for graduates from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. Graduates from this institution work in a wide variety of fields and are in various stages of their professional careers.


The annual meeting of the AIIMSonians of America provides an opportunity for members of this diaspora to meet old friends and make new ones. It is an opportunity for mentorship, networking, connecting socially and learning from peers with expertise in diverse areas of medicine and beyond.


The 2019 conference will focus on advances in cardiology, endocrinology, physician wellness, practice management and diagnostic procedures.


The two days of CME activities will be interspersed with 3 nights of social activities.

This activity is intended for any physician or allied health professional who has studied (MBBS, Residency, BSc, MSc or PhD) or worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India and their family members.

Accompanying guests are required to register for the meeting. Registered guests will be provided name badges and are welcome to join in all social events/meals and refreshment breaks.

Childcare will be made available for toilet-trained children in the meeting hotel.

Reservations for Childcare will be separate from meeting registration and will also need to be done in advance. Onsite registration for childcare will NOT be available.

Trainees at various stages (Medical Student, Resident, Fellow) are invited to submit abstracts for a poster session at the meeting. The AOA makes available travel awards to trainees who are first time attendees at the meeting. More information to follow.
