This activity is used to continue to educate and encourage healthcare employees to buy in to the importance of the patient experience by learning skills on communication, sharing knowledge and experiences and how coaching are all vital tools to help improve the patient experience. 

  1. Compare proven practices from numerous healthcare settings that you can apply in your own facilities.
  2. Develop connections with peers dedicated to improving the patient experience and build a support network as you tackle this critical issue.
  3. Implement steps in ensuring that patient experience is not only part of your quality and service agenda, but also is a key business strategy for your organization.
  4. Create new ways to exemplify patient experience excellence.


This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Saint Louis University School of Medicine and the Beryl Institute. Saint Louis University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
