Three guest speakers will provide updates on Stroke centers, best practices, and how to prepare for Joint Commission Stroke Certification. We will have an interactive technology symposium that participants can take in one room or all four rooms within the 60 minute time frame. A Stroke Chain of Care Panel will discuss their passion for the care of their stroke patients and the afternoon breakout sessions will provide updates in the areas of treatment, care, trials and much more.

  1. Review alternative methods for acute stroke triage
  2. Describe the process of Comprehensive Stroke Center certification
  3. Analyze the process for treatment intracranial hemorrhage from the field to the ICU
  4. Evaluate the interaction between stroke and the hematological system
  5. Discuss clinical features of stroke in the young patient population
  6. Apply the optimal approach to stroke recovery
  7. Address common pearls and pitfalls of CSC certification
  8. Discuss managing the survey and post-survey action plans
  9. Discuss current best-practice trends in CSC-certified centers
